Siehe, die Wiederauferstehung der ehemaligen Austin Critics Table, etwas überarbeitet in eine kategoriespezifische Version.

Die OG Austin Critics Table war ein Opfer von COVID und wurde nach Jahrzehnten der Anerkennung der Kunstszene in Austin aufgelöst.

Im vergangenen Jahr ermutigte die lokale Theaterbefürworterin und Gründungdirektorin des Theaterzentrums ATX Theatre, Sharron Anderson, die Kritiker von Austin, sich in einer neuen Form zu versammeln: den Austin Theatre Critics.

Die neue Gruppe umfasst Vertreter von The Austin American-Statesman, BroadwayWorld, CTX Live Theatre und mir selbst.

Wir haben uns intensiv mit der Bühnenlandschaft auseinandergesetzt und die besten und hellsten Talente in Austin gesucht, wobei wir uns regelmäßig getroffen haben, um die Award-Richtungen zu diskutieren.

Unsere Nominierungen spiegeln die intensive Kreativität lokaler Unternehmen wider.

Untergrundaufführungen, die Grenzen überschreiten und Formen bilden?

Die Auszeichnungen reichen von individuellen Leistungen über Ensembles bis hin zu Drehbucharbeiten und technischen Leistungen.

Die Preisverleihung am 9. Juni findet im Süden im 04 Center statt.

Nominierte und ihre Unterstützer sind eingeladen, zu kommen und diese großartigen Schauspieler zu ihrem Sieg zu jubeln.

Obwohl die Veranstaltung kostenlos ist, sind Reservierungen erforderlich.
